Alamak Operator status entitles you to unlimited access and special benifits on all of Alamak Servers and services.

You understand that you are expected to respect other users, keep within the law, and may be asked but not obligated to take on additional responsiblity to help police and keep the chat line clean and friendly for all users. You agree you will not oppose in any way those who take the time to keep the chat clean and friendly by fairly enforcing chat policies.

You also agree that your Ops account is for your use only and you will not transfer, sell, or share your account.

As user of Alamak services, you waive all rights to direct or indirect legal action against Exclamation Inc or it's shareholders and Alamak Internet hereafter referred to as Alamak.

You also agree that Alamak has the right to suspend or remove your account(s) for, but not limited to, a breach in chat policy as stated on the Alamak web sites.

In the event that your account is removed, you understand that you are still reponsible for payment of the account and bound by these conditions.

As an Alamak Operator and part of the Alamak community you agree to abide by and support the Chat Rules and agree to the considtions specified in this page as well as the Disclaimer.

A /deop is an online server command available to committee who observes an Operator who is seriously breaking policy and sees no other way to resolve the situation other than to /deop the account. A deop removes the Operators ability to /kick /ban /summon and a few other commands which affect the ability of other users to chat. A /deop is frequently a prelude to suspension, ergo used as a temporary measure till the system admin can be informed and the persons account suspended or removed.

If deopped by the committee, you will need to contact the committee using the /com command to have it removed. Deops can typically last 1 or 2 weeks depending on severity and the office will not undo a /deop.

A suspension is handed by the office and prevents an Operator from logging into their account on all Alamak servers.

Level drop is handed by the office, with the except that there can be some level changes in Framechat done by the committee. If it's the office case, we will drop your level for inappropriate behavior as an OP, and it is permanent. You will have to work your way back up over time.

Alamak reserves the right to deop, suspend, drop level, or remove any account for any reason without refund. This page is not comprehensive since we can not envision every possible scenario but will give an idea the sorts of things that would warrant one of these actions.

Accounts that are unpaid for more than three months will be removed from the database and permanently loose their level.

Accounts used primarily for kicking and banning other users typically show low ban times. This mean the Op logs in, kicks or bans and then logs off. Also, accounts involved in kick and ban wars fall under this catagory. This activity hurts our business and these accounts will be removed, no exception and no refund.

Negligent use of Ops privledges including kicking or banning for fun, for invalid reasons, or using vulgarity / insults and insults into kick, ban, or signoff messages. First offense is grounds for suspension of Operator powers 1 week or a drop in level.

Disagreements between Operators should be resolved by private message or in a private room with other Operators to moderate. Public disputes between Ops may result in both Ops being suspended for 1 week.

Users and Ops are not allowed to publically post links or distribute the the URL to pornographic or sites with sex related content.

Your Ops account is for your use only and according to the Ops contract you have agreed to not to transfer, sell, or share your account. Do not share or transfer your Ops account or password. If you are caught sharing your account with your school-mates or co-workers your account may be revoked without refund.

Use of the chat or other pages at this site for commercial or non-commercial promotion or advertisement without prior written agreement by Alamak is prohibited and is grounds for suspension or removal of account with no refund.
