I am originally from Trinidad and Tobago in the West Indies and my Portugese roots emanate from Madera to Guyana (formerly British Guiana at the time my ancestors migrated there at the turn of the century) then to Trinidad. Other related Portugese names that we have come across so far include Correira, Camacho and Alves. If anything here "rings a bell", I would be interested getting your feedback. I will always miss my fisherman friends from Villanova, Se�or Franca, his son and brother, quail hunting and above all the street bullfights that I attended daily even though they were offlimits to GI's.
