Comments Hi there, just found your site. I found it very informative and extremely interesting. I serve with Westville Fire Department, just 15 kms outside of Durban. We consist of 14 vol. FF's and 5 permament FF's/officers. We cover an area incorporating +- 25 000 housholds. We have Dennis Rapier, Rescue Pumper/ Medical Response Minivan/ GMC Light Pumper and a Service "bakkie"- LDV. Our calls mainly consist of accidents and medicals. However the odd housfire is always strongly attended. That's it for now, just wanted to touch base, yup, Africa, doesn't seem that far away on the 'Net. Cheers and stay safe over the Festive Seasons.
