The X-MEN is a group of mutants born with an X-factor in their generic structure
that gives them more than human powers, usually these mutants form three separate teams, the fugitive, X-Men
the public heros X-Factor and the new young mutants.
The founder of X-Men is Professor Charles Xavier, who is also a mutant himself.
He was a dedicated scientist and used his special powers to heal people who were injured.
His dream was to see that mutants and human can co-exist peacefully.

My favourite character in X-MEN has got to be wolverine aka logan.
Discovered in the Canadian wilderness, Wolverine was turned into a super-spy for the Canadian government,
with anadamantium enforced skeleton. His mind was infected with events that never actually happened while in
the Weapon X project.He went to the X-Men for freedom and a just cause.
Important events in his life with the X-Men include the taking away (by Magneto) and attempting to put back (by Genesis) the adamantium in his body. When the metal was being bonded to him from Genesis, he broke free, but as a savage "animal". Despite what's happened, he's learned to deal with it and is still a loyal member of the X-Men.
