welcome to triton's underwater kingdom

Personal Introduction

For those who do not know me yet, I am still the 30 year old male Chinese who lives in the eastern part of Singapore. Currently, I am trying to complete my degree in Computing Science in Curtin University of Technology. I have stop scuba diving for close to 2 years due to 'lobang' in my pocket. So I spend my time listening to music. Some of my favourite groups are Depeche Mode ,Erasure, Pet Shop Boys and New Order . I also read X-MEN comics, watching movies and last but not least wine n dine. Something which some of my friends may not know about me is that I love M.C. Escher's, Dutch graphic artist, artworks. His works are considered as intellectual and stimulating. So simple yet so complex. His grasps of creavity and and principles of geometry never fails to amaze me.

My long hair has now made way for pretty short hair. I am still spotting my two earrings and my beard as usual. I am pretty much the same as before. Life in Australia has affected me pretty much that when I am back in Singapore. I get a culture shock. People are simply everywhere. The sight of people coming out of the Mass Rapid Tranist stations during peak hour resembles ants coming out of a nest. I no longer like to drive in Singapore because of the heavy traffic. My white lancer coupe has given way to a blue 200SX now. After spending a couple of years here, I no longer miss home cooked food as much. This is due to the fact that I have learnt to cook more dishes. Also, I have found some pretty good eating places. There is a place called Bugis Street Tucker where they serve very close to Singaporean cooked food. Also, I have found someone who makes pretty good bak zhang and also bbq pork here in perth. If you do need to know where to get these food, simply leave me a forwarding email in my guestbook.

Diving

I like to scuba dive and I have dived in several parts of Malaysia like Sipadan, Tenggol, Redang, Langkawi, Pulau Aur, Manado in Indonesia and recently the Great Barrier in Cairns, Australia. I would recommend you to dive at the following places: Sipadan, Manado and The Great Barrier Reef. These places have extremely rich in marine life. For those who have yet to experience the underwater kingdom, do consider to take up a scuba diving course.

Sipadan is located in Sabah. The diving attractions in Sipadan is the turtles there. Do not forget to visit the turtle tomb if you do go there for diving. Besides the turtle tomb, do look out for the school of barracudas. It is a spectacular sight as the whole school is now about 20 storeys high. You will get to see manta rays, hammerhead sharks too. Do go for the night dive, it is excellent.

Manado is also another good diving place. You get to be treated like a king there(depends on where you stay). I was at Barracuda Resort. All you need to do in the morning is to get to the breakfast area and eat and walk to the boat later. Your equipment and tank will be handled by the divemaster there. There was a dive at Barracuda Point where i went to as deep as 50m. This dive is considered as one of my best dives in Manado as I saw both white/black-tip sharks, barracudas, moray eels, sea-snakes. Other recommended dives would be at Pulau Serina, there is a shipwreck there, but do be careful of the occassional strong currents.

Personal Thoughts on Alamak Chat

The following contents you are about to read may or may not offend you. If you feel insulted or offended, I like to take this opportunity to express my deepest apologises to you.

I do not deny the fact that Alamak Chat is a great place to meet new friends. You can choose who you like to chat with, you have the same rights as in real life where you can choose who your friends are In fact, I have found some of the closest friends here, I think you know who are. smiles. People who have help me fix my computer(s) are also considered. Without you, I will not be able to get online. heh heh. I sincerely hope that you can learn to separate your chat/cyber life from real life. Do not make this place like a politcal battle ground. Having powers in Alamak as an operator does not make you the almighty. If you think that you are head and shoulders above the rest, then you are wrong. It is just one of the many cyber chat rooms around. There are many operators around also. Remember that the moment you disconnect from the chat room, your cyber life ends there. I must admit that because numerous people spend so much time chatting online that cyber life becomes part of you. If that is the case, then IMHO you have an addiction. Remember that there is always someone out there who is richer, smarter and better than you. On the other hand, there is still someone who is not as good as you are. We are all here to make new friends and not to make more enemies. Learn to forgive and forget......To err is human and to forgive is divine...we are after all humans.

As I have kept pretty low profile in Alamak Chat for the past 2yrs or so, I think some of you are pretty interested to know how I look like. I have never put up a pic of myself online here to show anyone. Therefore I am not goin to disappoint you. Here is a pic of myself, please do not expect too much.
